Memorial Day is right around the corner and the annual holiday marks the official start of summer. Think BBQs in the park, beautiful beach days, and poolside parties that never end.
While you may love the spike in the temperature, your makeup may disagree and will drip off at the first sight of humidity. Hey, no one loves the stickiness of summer, but it’s about compromise right?

But wait! I had to share with you a few summer beauty tips from MUA Faye Smith’s blog!
Less is more – if you’re hitting the beach with your friends, there’s really no need to cake on a ton of foundation, powder, concealer, bronzer etc… stick to the basics and you will thank us later. Pop on your favorite concealer over those trouble spots, lightly dust a setting powder on top, and boom – good to go.
SUNSCREEN! This isn’t really a makeup problem – but ladies, you should ALWAYS have sunscreen on your pretty faces! Last thing anybody wants is skin cancer.
Highlight Carefully. Careful where you apply your highlight. Remember – it’s hot and sunny and you don’t want to be walking around with so much shimmer and highlight that people think you are constantly sweating, the tops of the cheekbones, are the really only place you need to be placing that product.
Sooooo did we share a few of your faves? What waterproof makeup items have you added to your collection?
